Board Officers
President - Sonia Reidy, M.D., MS, CPE, FAAP. (El Rio Health Center)
Dr. Sonia Reidy is the Senior Medical Director and a Pediatrician at El Rio. Dr. Reidy grew up in Tucson, AZ in the neighborhood that is served by El Rio's Congress Health Center. She attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate studies and has a master’s degree in clinical leadership from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Dr. Reidy obtained her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Her pediatric residency was at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where she was chief resident. Dr. Reidy completed A.T. Still University' s Primary Care Transformation Executive Fellowship program. Dr. Reidy is currently pursuing her Master's of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is president of the board of the Western Clinical Network and serves on multiple committees for the National Association of Community Health Centers.
Dr. Reidy is fortunate to be part of El Rio Community Health Center where she serves the community she grew up in. Her professional interests are in caring for at risk and underserved youth, mentoring new leaders, refugee care, telehealth, program development, and informatics.
